The Anglerfish Monitor AFCL-HD57 is a 5.7", 4K resolution monitor that has been designed secifically for underwater videographers and is rated to extreme depths for a low price point. It is small and lightweight underwater, maximizing the utility of the screen. The monitor comes with a custom bulkhead and cable connectors designed for maximum signal attenuation and noise/cross talk reduction. Bulkhead adapters are included for compatibility with 7 major brands of housing including Aquatica, Nauticam, Sea & Sea, Subal, SEACAM, Ikelite, and Isotta. A depth rating of 200 m and an operating temperature of -3 celsius to +50 celsius makes this monitor one of the most rugged on the market. You can truly take it anywhere. The battery compartment is completely sealed from the rest of the monitor, protecting the electronics from flood. The use of a connector to transmit 4K signal rather than a continuous cable means there is no airspace that would normally travel between the monitor and camera housing - reducing the risk of a flood in both housings. You can even remove the connector without removing the bulkhead from the housing.
The HDMI cable has been custom-designed for use underwater. The cable is capable of transmitting signals up to 8K and is armored with a layer of Kevlar and 2mm thick TPU plastic with UV stabilizers to protect from sunlight. The cable can withstand a pull force of 1,000 kg and is resistant to being cut.
